Hi ,  my name is Melanie Caroline Ragon , but everyone calls me Mel.  I am proud to say that I am once again Secretary of the West Greene FFA Officer team 2017-2018 year.   "Stationed by the ear of corn!" "I keep an accurate record of all meetings and correspond with other secretaries, wherever corn is grown and FFA members meet."   It's been a crazy year for not only me but for the whole chapter.  Our 2017-2018 officer team is very different from last year, but we seem to be adjusting to everything.  I'm so blessed to be able to be apart of FFA for two years now!  I've made some amazing friends, corresponded with other secretaries about their chapters, and have had a blast at making tons of memories with my fellow officers.  A lot of people may think FFA is just for boys and not for women , but most of our officer team plus the FFA orginization is mostly women.  FFA has really changed my life in many extraordinary ways.  I have developed qualities like work ethic, responsibilities, and so much more.  If  you're an upcoming freshman or you're an upperclassman and just don't show up to anything, join us sometime at one of our fun nights.  You won't regret joining FFA, because I guarantee you whatever you attend , there will be food.  This years officer team will not only be new but improved from last year.  I strongly encourage anyone who is not so sure about a club to be joining, please come and join FFA, I can promise you that you won't regret it.  If anyone has any questions please feel free to ask anyone of the officer team or both of the advisors.  Have a blessed day and remember Jesus loves you!!!
